Richard is the Founder and Principal of Leedon Park. Over the course of his career, he has held board positions, served as CEO, and led executive teams across a diverse range of industries. With more than $10 billion in completed transactions, he brings extensive industry knowledge and operational expertise across diverse business models and sectors.
Before founding Leedon Park, Richard was an investment professional at Nuveen (formerly TIAA-CREF). Earlier in his career, he held strategic roles at Lenovo, working directly with the firm’s former COO (now CEO of Office Depot) on global initiatives.
Born in Charlotte and raised in Singapore, Richard brings a global perspective shaped by years of living and working across cultures. He holds a degree in Economics and Chinese from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Outside of work, he is an avid rock climber, swimmer, cyclist, runner, and long-time volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, having participated in builds on four continents.
